At THE WORM FACTORY we do community outreach through not for profit organizations. We are available for large and small speaking engagements and special events.
Examples of some of our partners are Kitchener/Waterloo Regional Waste Management, Cities of Kingston, Ottawa and Guelph, Schools within the Ottawa Carleton, Upper Canada and Limestone Boards, Leeds Grenville Stewardship Council, Cataraqui Conservation Authority, Frontenac Arch Biosphere, Museum of Civilization, Arbour Environmental Shop, NIC Natural Insect Control as well as student associations at Queens, St. Lawrence College, Ottawa University and Sir Sanford Fleming College. We are members of the Canadian Organic Growers Association, the Biodynamic Association, the National Farmers Union and the Compost Council of Canada.
THE WORM FACTORY operates from a local farm at 874 Grady Road, Westport, Ontario. Ask for our list of associates working in other regions. We also have bilingual representatives. • 45 minute interactive training presentation, demonstrating how to set up and maintain your kit.
• 1 full pound of worms
Objective: To promote environmental awareness by introducing an on-going and hands-on friendly food recycling program through vermicomposting.

• Discover how every person can keep the Earth healthy by green garbage recycling
